Because we had such a blast in Madison the week of July 4th, we decided to make a pit stop there on our way home from Minneapolis.
We stopped in for lunch to see Dan, Jess, and Nadia.
Unfortunately, Jess had to work, so we left her hugs, kisses, and dirty dishes! :)
Adorable baby Nadia was in a good mood as usual!
After lunch Alex wanted to try out the TV. Here Alex is trying to give Uncle Dan a quick tutorial on the Little Einsteins.

Then, we were off to The Horse First Farm again. This time we rode for hours and hours...HEAVEN!!!
I love this picture, you can barely see her, but Grace is riding with Gretchen, totally fine, totally loving every minute of it. Gretchen and I both rode for a while with each kid.
Then we let Grace ride off on her own! *Just kidding grandparents!!!*
Gretchen let us spend the night in a room on the farm, so after riding, we got settled in to our room. We then headed back to the lounge area overlooking the arena and were able to observe Gretchen giving lessons. It was so much fun!
We also had time to walk around the farm, look at all the horses, and play with all the cats!
I really think this farm is my children's favorite place on earth.

After all that, we headed out for a delicious dinner at a cute diner, drove home and all three of us collapsed in a heap on a bed together and were asleep in minutes.
Thanks again Gretchen for everything!!!
